2 Days of Fun for Hailey’s 2nd Birthday

And it happened, my daughter turned 2 years old!! All planned out, we called it “2 Days of Fun for Hailey’s 2nd Birthday.” Instead of having a party for her, we decided to do some of her favorite things.

The night before the big day, we all took part in decorating her cake. She’s in love with Peppa Pig so we wanted Peppa and her friends to join the party in any way we could. Peppa Pig is hard to find so we went to our local Toys r us to get the figurine set. With powder all over their face and hands, they loved making and rolling out fondant with us.

It’s the Big Day

With walls decorated and balloons all over the living room, Hailey was overfilled with joy!!decorations

The Activities

Our first stop was Pump it Up for the mid-day Toddler Time Jump! Since this time is only for toddlers, it wasn’t very crowded and she even enjoyed the baby play area where she could hop on the ride-on toys!

Next stop, lunch at Chik Fil-A! Who doesn’t love those chicken nuggets and a chance to play on the playground?

Then we headed back home to have a Peppa Pig Birthday Party. A few months earlier I hooked up with the Nick Jr. Birthday Club to get a Birthday call from the Bubble Guppies. So before singing Happy Birthday, she got the call and had a smile from ear to ear and yelled “the bubble guppies.” Did I mention she was flabbergasted to see her Peppa Pig cookies from Magnificakes?

Our last stop of the evening was the Princess Party hosted by Charles County Recreation! Greeted by pink arches, a tiara and a wand, the princess party was so much fun. We walked into a big room filled with all the Disney Princesses and posh pampering stations all around. We visited several booths including making lip  gloss, having a tea party (we got a tea set too), picking out bling rings, coloring pictures, making fans and taking pictures with all the princesses!
