B&O Railroad Museum Halloween Events

The B&O Railroad Museum is hosting not one but TWO Halloween events! Kids up to 5 years old can enjoy Choo Choo Blue at the Toddler Time Halloween & Costume Parade; and kids of all ages can a ride on the Wizard Express in the land of Wizards and Witches.

Choo Choo Blue, the museum’s mascot, will lead the parade! Children listen to a Halloween story, create a craft, enjoy a train ride through the fictional town of Choo Choo Blueville, and parade in costume around the Museum to collect special treats – all included with paid admission.

Please note that this program start promptly at 10:30 a.m.

Witches & Wizards Weekend

Saturday, October 28 (10am – 3:30pm) & Sunday, October 29 (11am – 3:30pm)

Featuring the Wizards Express Train Ride!
Train Ride departs promptly: Saturday at 11:30am, 12:30pm & 2pm, Sunday at 12pm & 2:30pm

Come dressed as your favorite wizard or witch for a day of magical fun! There will be many activities to enjoy including:

• Edible Potions Class where wizards and witches craft some edible potions in the Potions Classroom

• Wand Making, a unique craft station, where witches and wizards discover their sense of self and build a wand to match their personality.

• Magical Creatures where young witches and wizards can hatch their very own “dragon”.

• The Wizard Show – 11:20am, 12:10pm & 1pm.

Purchase admission on-site for both events!
  
General Museum admission: $18 for Adults, $16 for Seniors (60+), $12 for children (2-12)
Train Rides tickets are $3 for adults, $2 for children with paid admission.

THE POLAR EXPRESS

All aboard for THE POLAR EXPRESS™ ! Create a Christmas memory that you and your family will treasure forever – a journey to the North Pole via THE POLAR EXPRESS ™. Immerse yourself in the classic children’s book, THE POLAR EXPRESS ™ by Chris Van Allsburg. the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area LEGO Train Club will display their amazing LEGO model train layout completely constructed of LEGO pieces at the “Polar Express North Pole.”

Super Hero Days

Kids can become their favorite super hero, ride on the Super Hero Express, listen to stories and play Super Hero themed games including shield tossing, archery, fast freight challenge.

Advance purchase required. Limited Space! Tickets on sale November 1.Enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast buffet, have your photo taken with Santa, take a ride on the indoor carousel ride, and enjoy all the model train layouts at the B&O Railroad Museum’s Magical Holiday Express. Then “All Aboard” for an exclusive train ride with Santa. Space is limited; advance purchase required. There are (8) eight seats per table. Seating is sold and assigned on first come, first purchased basis. Children under age 2 are required to sit on a guardian’s lap; if a seat is required for a child under age 2, please purchase a child’s ticket.
