B&O Railroad Museum Halloween Events

The B&O Railroad Museum is hosting not one but TWO Halloween events: Toddler Time Halloween & Costume Parade and Wizards and Witches. Starting October 25, the museum will amaze and amuse guest with holiday fun and surprises. Be sure to read til the end so that you can grab tickets to Super Hero Day and the famous Polar Express Train Ride.

 Toddler Time Halloween & Costume Parade with Choo Choo Blue

Choo Choo Blue, the museum’s mascot, will lead the parade! Children listen to a Halloween story, create a craft, enjoy a train ride through the fictional town of Choo Choo Blueville, and parade in costume around the Museum to collect special treats – all included with paid admission.

Please note that this program start promptly at 10:30 a.m.

General Museum admission: $20 for Adults, $17 for Seniors (60+), $12 for children (2-12)
Train Rides tickets: $3 for adults, $2 for children with paid admission.
Admission & Train Rides are FREE for B&O Members.

Witches & Wizards Weekend

Saturday, October 27 (10am – 3:30pm) & Sunday, October 28 (11am – 3:30pm)

Featuring the Wizards Express Train Ride!
Train Ride departs promptly: Saturday at 11:30am, 12:30pm & 2pm, Sunday at 12pm & 2:30pm

Come dressed as your favorite wizard or witch for a day of magical fun! There will be many activities to enjoy including:

• Edible Potions Class where wizards and witches craft some edible potions in the Potions Classroom

• Wand Making, a unique craft station, where witches and wizards discover their sense of self and build a wand to match their personality.

• Magical Creatures where young witches and wizards can hatch their very own “dragon”.

• The Wizard Show – 11:20am, 12:10pm & 1pm.

Kids can become their favorite super hero, ride on the Super Hero Express, listen to stories and play Super Hero themed games including shield tossing, archery, fast freight challenge.

All aboard for THE POLAR EXPRESS™ ! Create a Christmas memory that you and your family will treasure forever – a journey to the North Pole via THE POLAR EXPRESS ™. Immerse yourself in the classic children’s book, THE POLAR EXPRESS ™ by Chris Van Allsburg. the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area LEGO Train Club will display their amazing LEGO model train layout completely constructed of LEGO pieces at the “Polar Express North Pole.”
