Thomas & Friends are spending some time at the B&O Railroad Museum for the Day Out with Thomas 2018 Big Adventures Tour! Day Out With Thomas is a family event that offers children and their families the unique opportunity to take a ride with the No. 1 blue engine, Thomas the Tank Engine™, at heritage railroads across the country. The steam engines will roll into Baltimore April 27 – 29 & May 4 – 6, 2018.

Tickets start at just $22 per person for ages 2 and up and includes a scheduled 25 minute train ride behind Thomas the Tank Engine, all day admission to the B&O Railroad Museum, live entertainment, activities and programs. Since there will be tons of activities going on during the event, get there a little bit ahead of time to ensure your Littles don’t miss a thing. The activities include:

-Photo opportunities with Sir Topham Hatt
-Thomas Imagination Station of interactive play
-Carnival Games
-Moon bounce
-Kid’s climb-on train
-Craft & tattoo stations
-Interactive B&O Railroad Museum exhibits
-Free rides for children on Thomas Power Wheels, Museum’s carousel, Happy Train & Choo Choo Blueville
-Live Entertainment

In the event that all train rides are sold out, the B&O Railroad Museum will offer an on-site admission at $18 per person for ages 2 and up. Parking is free! Planning for the Day Out with Thomas

Getting your little one ready for the event is almost as much fun as going. Here are some ideas of things you can do to prepare for the big day:

-Be sure that your little engineer knows all about Thomas and his friends by tuning in the shows online, reading books, or engage in interactive play the the official Thomas the Train apps.
– Pick up a few toy trains or a Thomas the Train track sets
– Grab the crayons and get busy with coloring sheets, printables, activity sheets and more.
