Baby Loves Disco
Jammin Java- Vienna
April 4; Doors open at 10:30am, Showtime 11:00am; Cost: $12 pp
The fun spills out from the corners of the club: bubble machine, maracas, hula hoops, healthy food offerings; juice boxes! and LOTS of dancing. At its core, Baby Loves Disco is a dance party that brings parents with their children together with other parents. The experience includes a live music venue with a real DJ spinning and “real” music (no Barney!), lights, and a disco ball; balloons, face painting, crafts, a photo booth and other activities are commonly included to enhance this celebration of movement, children and our village. Fresh, healthy food is available as well as a bar. “11:00 a.m. is the new 11:00 p.m.”

Baysox Free Family Fun FestFREE!!
Baysox Stadium – Bowie
April 4; 10am-2pm
There are always tons of fun activities for the entire family at the Baysox Free Family FunFest:

  • The Baysox fun-loving mascots Louie and Rocko will make appearances throughout the day
  • The Oriole Bird will be on hand from 12:30-1:30 p.m.
  • Baysox scavenger hunt
  • 15-minute painting activity provided by Wine & Canvas Baltimore
  • The Maryland-National Capital Park Police Mounted Unit will be present at P.G. Stadium from 10:30 to 1:30. They are bringing one horse (Nate) who kids will be allowed to pet.
  • Live music performed on the stadium front pad
  • Carnival style games throughout the concours.
  • Louie’s Kids Park is open and free!
  • Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department and Bowie Police will have parking lot displays
  • Apperances by McGruff the Crime Dog, the Easter Bunny (10:30-11:15), Elmo (11:30-12:15) and SpongeBob SquarePants (12:30-1:15)
  • Interactive displays from local businesses and organizations will line the concourse

Kids Concert & Playtime w/Kidsinger Jim
Union Jacks – Annapolis
April 4, 2015; 11am;Cost $5 per person
First Saturday of every month Union Jacks has a kids concert and play time with amazing local, regional and national musicians.
LEGOS: We will have a lego table with nearly 100 pounds of legos and a good time for all ages. FACE PAINTING: Face Painting and Glitter Tattoos. FOOD & DRINK: Lunch menu and drinks available.

Learn How to Build a Chalkboard Planter StandFREE!!
Local Home Depot Stores
April 4, 9am
Every first Saturday Home Depot hosts a free hands on workshop designed for kids, come learn to build a chalkboard planter stand just in time for Spring! All participants will get to keep their craft, get a certificate at the end and their very own work apron!

First Saturday Family FunFREE!!
Piscataway Park – Accokeek Foundation
April 4; 1pm -3pm
This family-oriented program will begin with storytime, followed by an engaging craft and/or activity that will encourage families to get out and enjoy nature together. This month’s them is gardening! Storytime starts promptly at 1:10 and 2:10 pm. Then kids will enjoy learning about spring gardens by making seed bombs, pom pom flowers and a Spring bingo “scavenger hunt.”

Lolli and Pops – Come out and Play
Annapolis Mall – Lolli and Pops (lvl 1)
April 4, 12pm-4pm
Bring the whole family for fun and treats. Enjoy coloring, tours, and DIY bunny ears.
