All the kids are on Spring Break and I know you want them out of the house! The weather is nice and it’s the perfect time to get outdoors. We are embarking on Easter and there are events breaking out all over the DMV area. You can take a stroll along the Tidal Basin to see the Cherry Blossoms or grab a basket and hit up one of the many Easter egg hunts. Whichever you choose, have a great weekend with your family!
Police, Fire & Recuse Day

Cost: $5/Adults, $3/kids
Police, Fire and Rescue vehicles and their crews will be at the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum. Many emergency vehicles will be on the flightline, exhibits, displays, and activities.

Free Entrance Days in the National Parks
National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone. The fee-free days provide a great opportunity to visit a new place or an old favorite. There are more than 400 parks available to explore across the US.

Spring Eye Spy Trains
Cabin John Region Park
Weekends April (Sat April 8 – Sun April 30)
Children and adults alike can take a ride on the miniature trains running through Cabin John Regional Park and Wheaton Regional Park. The trains are replicas of the 1863 C.P. Huntington, a 4-2-4T steam locomotive purchased by the Southern Pacific Railroad. Hosted by Montgomery Parks.
