Golden Cinema 2018 @ Golden Triangle

Golden Cinema is a free 10-week-long outdoor movie series hosted by the Golden Triangle BID. Every Friday evening from early June through the beginning of August, area residents and workers are invited to watch movies under the stars in Farragut Park.

Summer Scavenger Hunt St. Charles Towne Center @ St. Charles Towne Center
Jun 23 – Aug 18 all-day

St. Charles Towne Center welcomes families to the mall to find mall items posted images of each Saturday to the Facebook Page. Once found, they turn in their scavenger hunt forms at the mall office to claim a prize. The Summer Scavenger Hunt series will take place from June 23 – August 18.

 

Charles County Youth Triathlon @ North Point High School

Charles County Youth Triathlon, hosted by Charles County Parks & Recreation is open to children 15 and under. Each child will swim, bike, and run specified distances based on their age group. Participants will wear a chip on their ankle that will track their time throughout the course of the event.

Paper Dreams @ Imagination Stage

Dance performance based show in collaboration with Mons Dansa Dance Company perfect for ages 1-5 that explores the many facets of creativity. A fun, interactive production that tells the story of two delightful creatures who live inside a wastepaper basket.

You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown @ Imagination Stage

Power Plant Live Family Fun Day @ PowerPlant Live!

Power Plant Live in Baltimore, MD features these Family Fun Day activities. Entry is free, but purchase an activities pass and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to a charity each month.

Kids Just Want To Have Fun Package – $5 wristbands includes pony rides, face painting, inflatable obstacle course, craft and educational area, yoga, hula hoops and vendors.

May Be Tiny But I Live Big – $15 all-access wristband include entry to Port Discovery, pony rides, face painting, inflatable obstacle course, craft and educational area, yoga, hula hoops and vendors.
*Reduced access rate to Port Discovery (only available for children) and portion of proceeds go to the featured children’s charity of the month!

Summer Movies at the Wine Bin @ The Wine Bin

The parking lot closes to cars 1.5 hours before showtime. Chair setup is allowed after that point.  The Wine Bin offers beer and wine tastings before the movie.  There is popcorn available for a donation to Howard County’s Voices for Children.
