A Holiday Celebration at Kings Dominion’s Winterfest

Kings Dominion’s Winterfest is the ultimate family holiday celebration that everyone will enjoy.  Winterfest is the place where holiday traditions of all kinds come to life and families are treated to an ultimate celebration. It is at this time of year where the park is magically transformed into a winter wonderland.
WinterFest is packed with all the sights, sounds, food and experiences of the holiday season. The park shines bright with millions of shimmering lights, a 300-foot tree and lavish displays. Twelve live shows and up to 34 strolling performers delight guests and spread Christmas cheer for all to hear. Festive fun and hands-on holiday activities are located throughout the park, and sweet aromas from special holiday dishes and desserts fill the midways.

We’re only listing a handful of attractions, you’ll have to go the park to get the full experience!

21 Rides will be open to include favorites from Planet Snoopy and thrill seekers rides like Delirium, Racer 75 and the Xtreme Skyflyer.

High Energy Shows and Live Entertainment – Don’t miss Peanuts Guide to Christmas, Tinker’s Toy Factory, Sleigh Ride in 3D and a spectacular Coke Polar Party in the Plaza.

Sounds of Nativity – It’s a real live nativity scene featuring a 38-animal petting zoo with singing along the way.

Holiday Tunes will be performed by Cool Yule Christmas.

Winterfest Snow Globe – Climb inside this larger than life snow globe and strike a pose before you leave the park!

Artisan Village – Up to 30 artists will be showcasing their wares every evening throughout WinterFest and creating hand-made collectibles for purchase.

Ice Skating $- Visitors can go ice skating around the International Street Fountain.  For just $15 (including skate rentals), 90- minute sessions are available during specific times. Ice skating does not include park admission.

Carriage Rides $ – Take in the night of memory making with a nice stroll on a horse-drawn carriage through the park with your family and friends.

Jack Frost’s Igloo Village $ – Furnished with comfort and warmth, this is the perfect spot to take a break and soak-in the beauty of WinterFest! Each reservation allows groups of 4 to enjoy food & beverage delivery in the igloo, reserved seating at WinterFest shows, cookie decorating with Mrs. Claus, a WinterFest souvenir hot chocolate mug, and a complimentary ice skating or carriage ride session.
