While looking on my Twitter feed a few days ago, I came across a post about Professional Potty Training Services. My first thought, “What the what?” I was intrigued so I need to find out more. In my search, I found several articles talking about what is said to be “a new trend in outsourced parenting (Daily Mail).” OUTSOURCED PARENTING? What the heck is that? Okay, so outsourced parenting is when a parent decides to hire someone for task like kicking the pacifier or thumb sucking habit, teaching a child to ride a bike, or even potty training. As you could have probably guessed, these types of services are very successful in New York and other big cities. With the hustle and bustle of life, some say, “Why stress when you can hire someone to do it?” The Potty Whisperer and NYC Potty Training are two companies that offer very unique services to help families’ potty train in no time flat. Let’s take a look at what they offer.

 The Potty Whisper

You’ve heard of the Dog Whisperer, now let’s meet the Potty Whisperer! Founded in 1998, Adriana Vermillion offers in-home visits and the newly added Potty Training Camp! Offered like a standard boot camp course, it’ll take just 3-5 days to get your toddler on the toilet. If you can afford the cost of $125 per day (minimum of 3 days), this may be a camp worth investing in. Camps have become very popular in NYC and will be offered in Charlotte, Chicago, and Los Angeles starting in the fall. Keeping classes smaller in number, only 10 participants can attend the 2-hour session at a time and comes with a custom potty training program. In addition, the “Potty University” parenting classes are encourage and open to parents that do not have a child registered for camp. One thing that we love about this company is that they offer camp scholarships for low income families and children with special needs.

 NYC Potty Training

Samantha Allen, founder and educational specialist says, “We will potty train your child in 1-2 days, and you can sit and watch, be totally involved in the process, or just come home from work to your toilet trained tot!” Offering packages in consultation and potty training, prices start at $340 from a trained professional to $925 from Samantha herself; Two days will cost you up to $1750. They are so confident in their services that the sites states that you don’t even need to pay for a 2nd day of training if Samantha is hired! A recent client posted on their Facebook page, “Thank you so much Samantha Allen and NYC Potting NYC Potty Training, Inc. for your amazing help with my son! He was potty trained in one day and have had continued success!” Now that you know about professional potty training services, would you consider hiring one of these pros to get your kid out of the pamper?
