The Pathway of Peace

Did you know that there is more to see than just the National Christmas Tree at the President’s Park? Follow the Pathway of Peace around the National Christmas Tree and view the state and territory trees with special handmade ornaments unique to each tree. Make sure to stop and watch the model trains travel around the base of the National Christmas Tree, a tradition that has been supported by volunteers for over 20 years.

The Pathway of Peace is generally open to the public from 10:00 am- 10:00 pm a few days after the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Please check back with us for specific dates when it will be open in 2015.
