Come one, come all to the Charles County Fair. The fun kicks off tomorrow September 11th and will continue until September 14th!
The gates open at 4:00 pm and the fun begins at 5:00 pm. The fair schedule is packed and has something for everyone to be a part of. See the schedule.
Just for Babies and Tots: The Baby Show contest is for children ages 6 months to 3 years and prize money ranges from $1-$5. Think your little one has what it takes? Click here.
The carnival is another fantastic attraction at the fair that will have the kids going crazy. Rosedale Attractions is offering a $5 off coupon for the Carnival Midway! Be sure to print it and bring it with you before you go!

I attempted to go with my children on the last day (sunday). We waited in a long line of cars for about 30mins once getting to the entrance of the fairground the police officer told most of the cars in line that the park lots were full and to drive to the courthouse to take a shuttle bus that only ran every 15mins. We waited in line for that to find out it was full and decided at that point no to go. Hopefully, next year better planning goes into “what if” the park lots are full suggestion: Have a big posting coming down crain HWY that “Fairground park lots are full” and closer parking for people coming to the fair.

I do agree with you. I’ll be sure to submit your comments to the county for better planning efforts next year. I did see cars parked along Crain Hwy on Sunday afternoon and was very surprised. I tend to go to these big events on the first or second day to beat the crowd madness.
