Princesses Stories Retold at Disney on Ice Presents Dream Big

Princesses Stories Retold at Disney on Ice Presents Dream Big

We were whisked away into classic Disney storybook stories at Disney on Ice Presents “Dream Big!” Accompanied by two of my favorite “Princesses in Training,” we all knew that it would be a night of memorable experiences and plenty of “Mommy, it’s Princess (insert name)!” From the minute we parked the car and put on their costumes (yes, it’s a must do for us), the magic had begun. Just in case you missed my pre-post about the show, here’s what Dream Big is all about.

Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Tiana, Jasmine, Aurora and Snow White will embark on incredible adventures, determined to make their dreams come true. Queen Elsa and Princess Anna will tell their story of sisterly love as the stage transforms into an icy depiction of Arendelle. With pixie-dust ready, Tinker Bell will lead the way as each story unfolds.

While I don’t want to give away all the magical moments of the show, I’m sharing five things our family loved.

  1. This show was all about the PRINCESSES.
  2. Actual movie scenes were portrayed. In shows that we’ve seen in the past, characters perform the most popular movie songs and that’s pretty much it. Great performance, but just one song. However, Disney chose to capture full scenes from some of the princess stories. You could hear people on either side reciting each word.
  3. Aladdin and the Genie really rocked the show. This was the first time where we’ve had a chance to relive the story with Aladdin and the Genie. See our short video from this scene.
  4. The girls jumped up and down each time bubbles or snow fell from the ceiling. Don’t worry, they only fall over the ice stage.
  5. Can we say Frozen Fever? No matter how many times they’ve watched the movie, we can’t help but to love Frozen. I caught myself singing the words to every song Elsa and Anna performed.

It’s not too late to grab tickets to the show. See below for show times and ticket information.
