National Dance Day 2016

Kennedy CenterA FREE day of performances and activities for the entire family! Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 1 to 11 p.m. Come out for a lively and interactive day of movement and fun to celebrate the art of dance, with interactive dance routines and lessons, free outdoor performances, live music, and more! National Dance Day is presented by the Kennedy Center in association with Dizzy Feet Foundation, and in conjunction with Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton. This grassroots campaign encourages Americans to embrace dance as a fun and positive way to maintain good health and combat obesity.

Baskin-Robbins’ “Celebrate 31” promotion celebrates the brand’s “31 flavors” heritage of offering a different ice cream flavor for every day of the month. Guests can enjoy all regular and kids-sized scoops for just $1.31 and $3.31 two-scoop sundaes at participating Baskin-Robbins shops nationwide as we conclude National Ice Cream Month.

AnnMarie Sculpture Garden & Arts CenterBuzz on in to celebrate and investigate insects through games, art activities, and more. Each guest will receive a punch pass that will guide them through various activities ending with a prize and fun photo opps! Insect show and Tell – Live and preserved specimens to investigate and observe. Fear Factor Table led by Eco Adventures – will dare you to hold a Tarantula or eat a worm, and learn about various critters along the way! Art Gallery I Spy – with Lego bug-building challenges.
