Enjoy an evening of pampering for your princess with nail and face painting. Other fun activities include making corsages, bracelets, balloons, fabulous rings, and decorative fans, make a wish on the magic mirror, etiquette lessons and much more. Super Fun Saturday Night at Elite Gymnastics: Spring Fling

Literacy Event with Forever Free Books! – FREE
2574 Business Park Court, Waldorf
April 18; 9 am -3 pm
Each hour there are dedicated readings and activities for specified age groups! Spring Into Reading Literacy Day Forever Free Books will host a Spring Into Reading Literacy Day. There will be a parent information session as well as crafts and snacks. Junior Ranger Day
Fort Washington Park

Come celebrate the start of National Park Week and National Junior Ranger Day with Fort Washington Park. Rangers will be prepared to help your little ones become official Junior Rangers. We will also have fossils found at Fort Washington Park on hand to help your child become a Junior Paleontologist. Pick up either activity books at the Visitor Center. Walk through the Solar System -FREE
Fort Washington Park
April 18; 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
The Solar System has been shrunk to fit inside of Fort Washington Park!
Starting at the Sun, we will walk by each planet and end one-tenth of a mile away at Neptune. Join us to discover what makes our Solar System unique.

Celebrate Earth
Richard E. Science Center
April 18; 5 -7 pm
Cost: $8 per person
Dynamic Earth explores the inner workings of Earth’s climate system. Audiences will ride along on swirling ocean and wind currents, dive into the heart of a monster hurricane, come face-to-face with sharks and gigantic whales, and fly into roiling volcanoes. Expedition Earth | Science On a Sphere |Patrick Rowley,resident meteorologist, will use the Science On a Sphere to present how Earth’s systems are interconnected. There will also be Earth Day activities in the courtyard.
