Charles County Parks and Recreation Aquatics program is offering free swim lessons for residents during Water Safety Month!
Swim Lesson Marathon
Do you want free swim lessons? We do!! Is your child safe around the water? Did you want to learn to swim as a child but never had the chance? Visit a participating swimming poll to participate in the swim lesson marathon. Receive an introductory level swim lesson for FREE.
Open to All Ages (min. 6 months)
30 minute class, grouped by age
Swim attire is required

FREE “Do your Part, Be Water Smart”
American Red Cross Program
Children will watch a video presented by the American Red Cross safety mascot, Longfellow the Whale! You will practice the safety skills taught in a video and receive a “Do Your Part, Be Water Smart” certificate. Participants will only work on the pool deck and in the classroom, therefore swimsuits are not required.
