Maryland Science Center
Venture out to the rooftop Observatory to view the night sky and take a look into our solar system to find planets and constellations.

Oh, the Places You’ll Go! Storytime

Barnes and Noble
In celebration of life’s many milestones, join Barnes and Noble for a reading of the Dr. Seuss classic Oh, the Places You’ll Go! Activities to follow.

You Are My Hero Card: Father’s Day Craft
June 11; 10am – 12pm
Michaels Stores
Cost: $2 per project, supplies included.
They craft, you shop! Kids 3 and up can enjoy a quick project and take home a finished masterpiece. Sign up in store or online, or just drop in. Parent or guardian must remain on premises during the event.

Cost: $2.50 for adults/$1 for children 3-12
Local band Rocknocerus will kick off the day with a concert at Noon and both Poe and the Oriole Bird will be here for the show. Plus, have a slice of free birthday cake, play life-size games that were popular in the 1970s and engage in experiments.

Mini-golf and all-you-can-hit batting cages will be free for all kids ages 12 and younger: 13 and up will get 50% off. Family Yoga in the Garden (ages 3-5)

Enjoy family yoga in the Garden! This class offers tots and their favorite adults the opportunity to explore yoga postures, listen to stories, enjoy music, participate in yoga games, and learn breathing and relaxation techniques together. Not the typical yoga class– giggles, cuddles, and laughter are encouraged!

National Parks Family Day at the Postal MuseumFREE
