Time for a Backyard Campout!

June 28, 2014 marks the day for the Great American Backyard Campout! As a big effort lead by the National Wildlife Federation, the goal is to reconnect families with nature in parks, neighborhoods, communities and backyards nationwide.

Check the many ways be part of the Great American Backyard Campout:

• Campout in your own backyard: Get a tent, sleeping bags or blankets, books, toys, and binoculars for spotting fireflies and stars. Don’t forget to sign the pledge to be sure that your campout is counted as a part of the official Great American Backyard Campout.
• Join a public Campout Event
• Host your own public event
