The Race for Every Child

 Race For Every Child

The Race for Every Child is a 5K Run/Walk benefiting Children’s National Health System. The Race promotes children’s health and the benefits of exercise for children and families. Participants, sponsors, and partners will have a chance to meet Children’s National staff and run or walk alongside children who are thriving after being treated at Children’s National.

The run, walk and Kids’ Dash will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 on Freedom Plaza in Washington, DC.

The Race for every child strives to get the young participants engaged and active. Kids can enjoy a slew of games, activities and entertainment throughout the event. In addition, there will be health activities (on-stage warm-ups, pre-race kickoff, blood mobile unit, etc.) and entertainment by The Vurge and Fuse.

Kids’ Dash

Children between the ages of 3 and 10 years of age are eligible to participate in the Kids’ Dash. The 100-yard (one city block long) Kids’ Dash is a great way to encourage your child to be active and healthy!
