Trolls Comes to Netflix

Clap your hands, stomp your feet, swing your hair to the Trolls beat!

In case you haven’t heard, Dreamworks Animation has teamed up with Netflix to bring us a new animation series, DreamWorks Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, which premieres January 19th.

The series is picking up where it left off in the 2016 film. With all her troubles behind, Queen Poppy’s wants the Trolls and Bergans live together in perfect harmony. This harmony includes parties, celebrations and of course, singing (Trolls style that is)! Although I’m not sure how this is going to turn out, it seems like the adventure ahead will keep us watching! 

Don’t be disappointed that the voices from the original cast have been replaced but the kids won’t notice. The new cast will feature Skylar Astin (Pitch Perfect) and Amanda Leighton (The Fosters) playing the roles of Branch and Poppy from Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake.

We know this is gonna be good because the kids were begging for more after the recent release of the Trolls Holiday Special! I think the new animation series will hold us until Trolls 2 is released in 2020.

If this wasn’t enough to make the kids go coo-coo, at least 4 other animation series will be breaking ground this year! Get ready for Boss Baby, She-Ra, Harvey Street Kids and the The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants. Well done Hollywood, well done!
