Washington Auto Show 2019

The Washington Auto Show is the Place to Be

Designated one of the nation’s top five auto shows by the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers, The Washington Auto Show, is a 10-day public show happening, April 4 – 14, 2019, a world-class event that continues to entice audiences with its cutting-edge exhibits, latest model cars and displays of historic vehicles.

This show is jammed packed with events for the entire family! See over 600 exotic, luxury, concept and showroom cars from 35 domestic and foreign manufacturers. Experience automotive Ride ‘N Drives, including an all-new electric vehicle exhibit with indoor ride opportunities, along with Camp Jeep and the return of the Jaguar Land Rover experience. The show will also feature a Family Fun Zone, the Art-of-Motion exhibit, appearances by D.C. sports stars, and much more.

Here’s What’s New for 2019

The Biggest MobilityTalks International Yet

This year’s MobilityTalks International will feature more presenters, representing more countries, more government agencies, and more technology and automotive industry leaders than ever before. Attendees will hear from current and former Cabinet-level officials, members of Congress, distinguished guests from nearly a dozen countries, and much more.

More Experiential Driving Opportunities
The world-class Jaguar Land Rover Test Drive Experience is returning in 2019, allowing attendees to drive a brand-new Land Rover across hills, valleys, and sharp turns, all inside the convention center, while Jaguar will feature its test track once again, where show visitors will be driven through a stunt course by a trained driver. Camp Jeep makes its return to D.C. in 2019 as well, and the show is also debuting a first-of-its-kind Electric Drive Experience — a collaboration between multiple manufacturers and electric-vehicle technology leaders EZ-EV and Exelon. This track will allow passengers to experience the latest in all-electric vehicle technology, right in the middle of Hall C at the convention center.

An All-Star showcase every weeknight
The Auto Show is partnering with all six major local sports teams this year, and five big names will be appearing for autograph/photo sessions during the week, including international superstars like Wayne Rooney, local legends Craig Laughlin and Kristi Toliver, and fan favorites Ryan Kerrigan and Sean Doolittle.

The Washington Auto Show is the largest public show in Washington, D.C. Over the course of its many years this beloved and historic D.C. tradition has attracted Washingtonians of all stripes – and political affiliations. Visitors enjoy the annual trek to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center for the entertainment, as much as for the experience of viewing the hundreds of cars on exhibit.

There are over 700 vehicles on display from Bentley to Chevrolet! See Production, concept, luxury, electric, hybrid, exotic and historic cars covering 750,000 square feet. If you can think of a car, it’ll probably be there!
