Naval vessels and the U.S. Navy Blue Angels will arrive in the Harbor to pay tribute to “The Star-Spangled Banner,” at the Star-Spangled Spectacular. Festivities will include live musical performances, a family fun zone, Chesapeake food and beverage and more.

Come one, come all to the Charles County Fair. The fun kicks off today September 11th and will continue until September 14th! Admission is free for children under the age of 11 and there is a $5 off coupon for the attractions.

The Race for Every Child is a 5K Run/Walk benefiting Children’s National Health System. The Race promotes children’s health and the benefits of exercise for children and families. Participants, sponsors, and partners will have a chance to meet Children’s National staff and run or walk alongside children who are thriving after being treated at Children’s National.
The White House Visitor Center is reopening September 13th. The renovated museum offers enhanced opportunities for all to explore and learn about the White House and its roles as home, office, park, and ceremonial space. Visitors can explore touchscreen tours of the White House, interact with tactile exhibits, and experience the 14-minute signature film “White House: Reflections from Within.” Discover fascinating museum objects with compelling stories.
