Celebrate Dads with something special. From taking a hike a local state park, hitting up the Maryland Ice Cream Trail or hanging out a community event, surprise him this year! Ditch the gift and make memories. Celebrate your Father, Grand-father, God-Father, Uncle, Cousin or any father-figure in your life.

It’s not too late to make plans for any one of these because DADS AREN’T PICKY and most  of them don’t require reservations.  

Here are some ways we’ve made Father’s Day special:

• Create a video with a special message for dad and send it via text message (we all love to receive video messages)
• Attach a printable gift tag to one of his favorite treats with a gift card to one of dad’s favorite places (from theidearoom.com)
• Go for a Hike
• Have a Barbeque
• Play a round of mini golf or go to Top Golf (everyone can play)
• Take a paddle boat ride or jump aboard a pirate ship
• Start a building project
• Let dad have the remote!
