Apple Gala & Cider Fest – Each Weekend in September!
Open Sunday, Sept 13th! September may mean back to school for many, but at Great Country Farms it means back to the farm for freshly pressed cider and apples! We will celebrate with tastings of this season’s best Rinker’s cider and demonstrations with our antique cider press. Our Corn Maze opens 9/5 and features Boulder Crest Retreat for Military and Veteran Wellness right here in Bluemont, VA.

Pumpkin Harvest Festival – Sept 26- Oct 31
Where else can you pick your pumpkins and apples, fire pumpkins from a cannon, enjoy cider, donuts, get lost in a corn maze, visit with the pumpkin princess, cheer for your favorite swine at the infamous Kentucky Derby, and watch P-Rex our pumpkin munchin’ dinosaur?

Pumpkin Chunkin’ – November 1-3, 2015
Bring your leftover jack-o-lantern to our smashin’ session and let it fly using The Silo Drop and the Zip Wire Sploosh or add it to the 40ft lift Pumpkin Drop Zone and watch the upside down “fireworks display.” Don’t Miss the Lucky Duck Giant Pumpkin Drop at 2pm Nov. 2nd to benefit Boulder Crest Retreat.
