The Avengers Go on an Epic Adventure in Marvel Universe Live

Avengers Assembled at the Marvel Universe Live Age of Heroes show in Fairfax. Let me start by saying, Marvel never disappoints when it comes to giving fans an action packed adventure. From the moment we walked in the building, many of the kids were dressed as their favorite Marvel character. We usually dress up as well but we didn’t get our costumes and attire together in time (I know, I know). When the show started the kids were amped up, the anticipation was killing them. I don’t want to give the show away so we’ll be brief.

We had the opportunity to see Marvel Universe Live: Age of Heroes last year and although it was the same show, for some reason, it felt new all over again. I guess that’s the effect Marvel has on their fans. It was almost like watching your favorite movie over again after not seeing it for a while. Check out our full review and see our top 3 moments. While we thoroughly enjoyed the show, I must admit that we were a little disappointed that Captain Marvel didn’t appear since she’s the latest craze. The storyline has nothing to do with her but honestly, it would have been a pleasant surprise and given us that last big bang at the end of the show.

If you’re going to see Marvel Universe Live, there are a few things you MUST do:

1. When booking your tickets on Ticketmaster.com, use the code BLOG to save $6 per ticket
2. Dress the part with either a costume, mask or shirt. Parents, this is the time to play dress up with the kids, get your outfit together too!
3. While at the show, take pictures, post to Twitter and use the hashtag #MarvelUniverseLive for a chance to see your pictures on the jumbotron during intermission. I’m telling you, my kids freaked out when they showed up on the screen (it’s soo worth the smiles and giggles).
