Many of us have dealt with one or all of these conditions this month! BUT…. The Fun Still Goes On!!! Check out some of my hand-picked events for the Littles this month. I’ll be updating the list daily so keep checking back!

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Presents Circus XTREME 
EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Va., from April 6-17
Featuring artists who redefine the word extreme in everything they do, magnifying traditional elements of the circus and combining them with never-before-seen spectacles, original fast-paced performances and incredibly hilarious moments. Bring your toddler to the pool for free swimming during an hour specifically for them. Enjoy time with your little fish in the zero-depth entry area. Adult required to be in the water with their children. 3 months to 5 years; Adult required to be in the water with their children.

Southwest Waterfront Fireworks Festival Hosted by the National Cherry Blossom Festival

National Cherry Blossom Festival
Washington, DC – Constitution Ave.
April 16
One of DC’s largest spectator events, the energy-filled Parade runs for 10 blocks along iconic Constitution Avenue. Giant colorful helium balloons, elaborate floats, marching bands from across the country, celebrity entertainers, and performers burst down the Parade route in a grand spectacle of music and showmanship seen only once a year during the National Cherry Blossom Festival. #CherryBlossomDC

Earth Day on the Square

Re-cycle, Re-use, Re-purpose! Local experts and organizations provide educational activities to teach about conservation, animal rescue, ecology, recycling, and sustainable living. Vendors and special guests provide green products, nature walks, waterman boat tours, kayak demos, information, resources, live entertainment, food and more! 2016 Anacostia River Festival

The National Park Service and the 11th Street Bridge Park present the second annual Anacostia River Festival and official closing program of the 2016 National Cherry Blossom Festival. This year’s Anacostia River Festival celebrates “connecting people to parks” in recognition of the National Park Service’s 2016 Centennial celebration. Activities include: kayaking, boating, fishing workshops, hands-on art projects, musical performances, bike parades and other unique programs engaging families with the river, its history and ecology.
